Such endeavors are making new contributions to globalization and creation of a community of shared future.

To adapt to this changing world and China's fast development in the new era, the 2022 International Conference on Offshore Wind (ICOW 2022) is to be held on Nov. 18–20, 2022 in Guangzhou, China. Organized jointly by South China University of Technology, China Three Gorges Corporation Guangdong Branch, and AEIC, ICOW 2022 takes “bringing together global wisdom in scientific innovation to promote high-quality development in the field of offshore wind” as the theme and focuses on cutting-edge research fields of offshore wind technology. ICOW 2022 aims to boost the development of the offshore wind related technology, expand channels of international academic exchange in science and technology, build a sharing platform of academic resources, promote scientific innovation on the global scale, and strengthen academic cooperation between China and the outside world, enhance the development of industries of offshore wind technology. It also aims to encourage the exchange of information on frontiers of research in different areas, connect the most advanced academic resources in China and the world, turn research results into industrial solutions, and bring together talents, technologies, and capital to boost development.

All papaers, both invited and contributed, will be reviewed by two or three experts from the committees. After a careful reviewing process, all accepted papers of ICOW 2022 will be published in the Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS) (ISSN:1742-6596), and it will be submitted to EI Compendex and Scopus for indexing.

Note: All submitted articles should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical. Articles submitted to the conference should meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. We firmly believe that ethical conduct is the most essential virtual of any academic. Hence any act of plagiarism is a totally unacceptable academic misconduct and cannot be tolerated.
